Modern Hippie Interiors is Paula Daniels’ independent home and gift boutique, opening this fall at The Colonnade on El Paseo in Palm Desert. Paula is a Certified Interior Designer, and she chooses every piece herself — for the material, for whether it earns its place in a room somebody actually lives in, and for the decent chance nobody else on the street will have it. Furniture, décor, serveware and gifts — and someone on hand who knows every piece in the shop.

Paula works with homeowners across Palm Desert, La Quinta, Indian Wells, Rancho Mirage and Indio to figure out what a room actually needs — scale, materials, how it takes the light — and then finds the pieces for it. A Certified Interior Designer, and a straight answer about what will and will not work in your space.
Consultation & Conceptualization: We walk the space and talk about how you actually use it, then agree on a direction before anything gets bought.
Customized Styling Solutions: Furniture, color and materials chosen for your room and your budget, not pulled off a template.
Space Planning & Layout Design: Where things go, how you move through the room, and what to leave out. Usually the part that makes the difference.
Finishing Touches & Décor Curation: The last ten percent. Lighting, textiles, art and the small things that stop a room looking unfinished.
